None of the above, I watch TV for entertainment not for role models

I wish women on TV could just be characters instead of constantly being evaluated as role models.

I'm not even the new season shows...over 40 people lamenting that they're over 40. Who has time for whining over what you can't control?

I watch TV to escape, not to be reminded about how bad my life is. But, if I had a choice, I'd go for Roseanne, my life is just as crappy.

Murphy Brown was one of my all time favs right up there with Roseanne.

That's why they call it fiction... If I'm going to pick a role model, it's going to be someone "above" where I am, something I can aspire t

To me, it's so unfair that women are STILL making less money for the same work as men.

Having been unemployed for over three years, none of them.

The up-and-coming, single career woman Mary Richards

"That Girl" presented TV's first single career woman living alone. Ann Marie wasn't a perfect feminist, but she made Mary Richards possible

Once upon a time, I was Mary Richards. But now I'm closer to Laura Petrie, the SAHM Mary Tyler Moore played on the "Dick Van Dyke" show

I'm a SAHM getting ready to go back to school to earn a second bachelor's (a BSN). TV is fun to watch but it's make believe.

Not single, but the others don't work for a happily married woman who is also up and coming in her career.

The closest that represents me is Ann Romano from "One Day at a Time". A working single parent.

I am the polar opposite of Peg Bundy, but she sure was a hoot. Malcolm in the Middle mom was funny, too, I'm not like her, either.

This really was the most realistic portrayal of an American working mom.
