It's 'engineered' music, aimed at the uneducated, under the guise of Country Music. It's more like pop music than true country.
Like Mr. Jones, I prefer the more traditional music. the newer artists are attempting to fit rock into a country genra.
I was country, when country wasn't cool. My Dad says it's screaming,--not singing--to a rock & roll beat. Very little to do with Country.
