    I like it, which means it will probably get cancelled. I'm very curious how the familiar story will be developed.

      I feel it was too much information in one episode. If you never saw the miniseries, you would be a little lost.

        The pacing was oddly slow. I will sick out the first four show and hope for some improvement.

            I think this is a faithful remake and modernized improvement of one of my favorite shows of the 80's.

                  The new special effects are terrific. Scot Wolf's portrayal of Chad Decker is so much better than the original.

                          The opener gave away too much. The original you didn't know they were reptiles until later in the series.

                            Isn't this a remake? I liked that the star is the concubine from Serenity and they used the pilot from Serenity also.

                              While I normally love sci-fi shows, I didn't watch the 80's version and don't plan to watch this one.

                                Same here....too much info for the first episode. The arrival was better in the miniseries...and the romances here between the characters seems overdone and cheesy. Suits look plain..where are the symbols.. showing the green lizard skin underneath already? and there is already a resistance? The original had better buildup of all that stuff. Hope the show gets better...less cheese on the romance too.
